"I was born in Washington, D.C. and studied at the National College of Art, Dublin, the Centre d’Art Sacré, Paris, and the Arts Students League of New York. Later I studied with Professor Ernst Fuchs in Vienna and learned the ‘Mische’ technique, which revived the painting secrets of the Italian Renaissance Masters. In England I founded the Society for Art of Imagination, to promote art of Vision and Craftsmanship. (The Society became a charity in the United States in 1998.) I was recently appointed as art adviser on the board of the new Museum of Fantastic Art, Vienna."
